Description:
Dermatologists are often required to teach or train one or more learners in their clinics, including residents, medical students, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Time is at a premium and teaching must be balanced with patient care. This workshop aims to provide a comprehensive toolbox of time-saving tips for teaching in the outpatient clinic. We will consider and generate solutions for the common challenges of teaching in this setting. We will identify opportunities for giving feedback. Best practices and common pitfalls are explored in an interactive format through cases and video clips.
