Following this course, the attendee should be able to:
- Discuss the necessary examinations and tests in order to stage patients with CTCL.
- Recognize treatment options for patient with pruritus associated with CTCL.
- Choose appropriate therapies for early and late stage mycosis fungoides and Sezary Syndrome.
Description:
The session will help those who attend to work-up patients with early or advanced stage mycosis fungoides and Sezary Syndrome. The appropriate testing necessary to establish the diagnosis and stage will be reviewed. A goal will be to help the attendee feel comfortable when faced with this task. We will also discuss treatment issues related to CTCL. The approach to itch will be covered. Current and upcoming therapies will be reviewed for mycosis fungoides and Sezary Syndrome.
