Learning Objectives:
Following this course, the attendee should be able to:

  • Recognize laser-tissue interactions and specific visual endpoints through the demonstration and use of actual patient treatment video examples.
  • Demonstrate the proper techniques utilizing specific lasers for selected problems such as port wine stains, hirsutism, tattoos, rosacea, poikiloderma, and skin rejuvenation will be presented through video media.

Description:
This session will feature two experienced laser practitioners and their approach to actual laser treatments for a variety of patients seeking laser treatment for selected common skin conditions. Actual video footage will be shown and discussed using a wide variety of lasers for conditions such as port wine stains, facial telangiectasia, spider leg veins, rosacea, poikiloderma, hirsutism, tattoo removal, lentigines, facial skin rejuvenation, and scar revision. The videos will be shown with concurrent live commentary with ample opportunity for participant interaction and questions. The emphasis will be on demonstrating appropriate visual tissue endpoints to achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
