Following this course, the attendee should be able to:
- Treat common dermatoses in the pregnant patient
- Evaluate and manage pigmented lesions in the pregnant patient
- Diagnose and treat dermatoses of pregnancy
Description:
The pregnant woman is faced with multiple changes in her body, including her skin. She may be challenged with dermatoses of pregnancy, with flares of chronic disease, or with infections. This forum will teach the specific dermatoses of pregnancy and how they are diagnosed, as well as the management of common skin diseases such as psoriasis. We will review the potential dangers of various infections. Aid in choosing the best drug among our dermatologic armamentarium during pregnancy will also be given.
