Description:
Practice and knowledge gaps are born within the vacuum that is created by science and technology as it outpaces clinical medicine. Ten years ago, molecular markers, designer drugs, real-time imaging and electronic medical records were merely ideas in laboratories. Ten years from now, “NextGen” dermatologists will likely face a new technologically foreign terrain. How will “laboratories-on-a-chip” help you diagnosis skin disease? How will you leverage “living pathology” through point-of-care devices? How will automation and smart systems re-tool/rebuild your office? How will new procedural instrumentation and therapeutic targets enhance “precision” medicine? Come and explore your practice in the year 2020.
