- Select appropriate diagnostic maneuvers to perform on hair loss patients
- Recognize the role of the pathologist in the evaluation of hair loss
Description:
This session is designed for anyone who cares for patients with hair loss. An imaginary clinic day filled with challenging hair loss patients will be created. The faculty will present a step-by-step approach to an orderly and complete evaluation. Historical clues, diagnostic maneuvers, laboratory testing and the interpretation of biopsy specimens will be covered. A review of the typical findings found in common disorders rounds out the session. Time permitting, attendees can also pose treatment questions to the faculty.
