Description:
Acne vulgaris is one of the most common skin conditions treated by dermatologists. This session will review updated information on acne pathogenesis and provide practical tips in treating patients with oral and topical agents. Special populations, including adult women and pediatric patients, will be covered. The session will help attendees develop management plans with rational incorporation of medications and skin care and develop ways to promote adherence to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
