Description:
Mobile applications (apps) for smartphones and tablets are transforming the way dermatologists work and interact with patients. Even if you do not currently use this technology, whether you know it or not, you see colleagues and patients daily who have made medical decisions based medical apps. This session will overview apps useful for clinical care and getting work done in dermatology. Audience members will gain knowledge of selected apps that do a good job at increasing dermatologists' productivity, efficiency, safety, and knowledge. Real-world examples of mobile apps in action will be demonstrated.
