Description:
Burning Mouth Syndrome (BMS) falls within the purview of oral dermatology. Nonetheless, patients with BMS are often avoided or approached with trepidation by dermatologists. This session will provide a structured approach to recognizing diagnosing and managing patients with BMS. It will increase the efficiency and proficiency of dermatologists currently treating patients with BMS. It will also provide a sufficient knowledge base to allow those not treating patients with BMS to begin doing so in a rewarding manner.
