Following this course, the attendee should be able to:
- Develop skills in differential diagnosis and evaluation of atypical wounds
- Describe new finding in dermatopathology in relationship to atypical wounds
- Detect and manage common complications and adverse events arising from surgical and cosmetic dermatologic procedures
Description:
This session will offer practical considerations in the diagnosis, specific evaluation and advanced therapeutic management of atypical wounds. Topic areas to be discussed include hard to heal wounds in dermatologic surgery, cosmetic dermatology and systemic skin diseases. An interactive case-based approach will be utilized to highlight relevance for the experienced clinician.
