- Apply lasers in the treatment of traumatic injuries
- Integrate adjuvant techniques for the care of traumatic scars
- Assess the needs of traumatic scar patients and facilitate rehabilitation from traumatic injuries
Description:
Everyone at some point in their life will have a scar from trauma or a procedure. This session will discuss multiple different modalities in the treatment of wounded warriors, but talk about similarities into the civilian care of motor vehicle accidents, burns and other traumatic scars. Lasers, neurotoxins, and fillers among other approaches will be discussed and how there synergistic effects can optimize patient outcomes. All aspects of care from range of motion to aesthetics will be mentioned.
