Description:
Many of the important issues regarding the appropriate management of patients with dysplastic nevi or a history of melanoma are complex, such as who would benefit from genetic testing, which patients are appropriate candidates for sentinel lymph node mapping, and what the role is of imiquimod or BRAF inhibitors in melanoma treatment, yet these issues arise daily in practice. The emphasis of this session is on practical information that will help dermatologists refine their management of patients with melanocytic lesions.
