Following this course, the attendee should be able to:
- Recognize a variety of 'hot topics,' as identified by registrants at the Annual Meeting.
- Discuss the 'hot topics' of medical and surgical dermatology, including items of social and economic import.
Description:
The 'hot topics' symposium will address and highlight a variety of topics established by registrant consensus at the Annual Meeting. These topics, derived from registrants' top three choices, will reflect the medical/surgical and social/economic concerns of the membership. The somewhat unstructured session will be a potpourri of contemporary issues that currently affect and impact the specialty. Expert speakers will tackle the topics in an interactive manner, hopefully stimulating debate and minimizing controversy. Presentations will be 'state of the art,' and attendees will derive a sense of 'what's important' to dermatologists in 2013.
