Learning Objectives:
Following this course, the attendee should be able to:
- Diagnose allergic contact dermatitis and recognize the differential diagnoses
- Use patch testing to evaluate the patient
Description:
The purpose of this session is an introduction to contact dermatitis. It will focus on the differential diagnosis of allergic contact dermatitis and the BASICS of patch testing and photo patch testing. In addition we will highlight some specific topics with the field: musician, hand, plant, and occupational dermatitis, as well as ACD in the atopic.
