- Develop a management plan for the patient suspected of contact allergy.
- Recognize potential allergens in your patient's environment.
Description:
This session will review patch testing and highlight how this in office technique is beneficial to the patient and provides a valuable tool to the clinician when trying to discern the cause of some dermatoses. The session will help the attendee evaluate the patient suspected of contact allergen and develop a management plan to help educate the patient following patch testing. In addition to reviewing the patch testing technique, allergens of interest beyond standard trays will be discussed.
