- Create slides that maximally enhance your presentation.
- Deliver an effective talk to a medical audience by optimally presenting yourself and your content.
Description:
Being able to give an effective talk is an essential and learnable skill. This session will arm you with the information and strategies you need to optimize your ability to create and deliver effective talks to medical audiences. The session begins with a brief "example" talk which illustrates key concepts and common mistakes regarding content, organization, slide structure and delivery. A high yield review of 3 essential components of giving a talk (conceptualization, creation and delivery) follows. The session is intended to be interactive and is appropriate for anyone who gives talks and lectures at any level.
