Learning Objectives:
Following this course, the attendee should be able to:
- Discuss new developments in dermatopathology
- Identify new diagnostic techniques available in dermatopathology
- Review new literature with important implications in the practice of dermatopathology
Description:
This session will review hot topics in dermatopathology. Each lecture is focused on a specific area of dermatology/dermatopathology (cutaneous lymphomas, melanocytic, genodermatoses, vascular/thrombotic, viral, and epidermal stem cells). Diagnostic categories, diagnostic techniques (e.g. FISH, CGH), and other developments in dermatopathology with clinical relevance will be discussed in the context of pertinent recent literature.
