- Recognize the unique considerations for managing patients with amyopathic dermatomyositis
- Describe existing and emerging ideas in therapy for cutaneous disease
Description:
This session will focus on providing tips to recognize both the classic as well as the less common cutaneous manifestations of autoimmune connective tissue diseases, with a particular emphasis on cutaneous lupus and dermatomyositis. The unique aspects of management of patients with amyopathic dermatomyositis will be highlighted. Advanced management of cutaneous autoimmune disease will be emphasized, including a detailed review of existing and emerging therapeutic options for refractory skin disease.
