Leadership Forum
The 2008 Leadership Forum is a highly interactive weekend that will provide an opportunity to advance your leadership and communication skills while networking with colleagues and Academy Leaders. Energetic and informative speakers will cover topics on media training, communication techniques and negotiation skills. You will also have the opportunity to take the Myers-Briggs personality assessment and learn how to leverage your personality type to be a strong leader. If selected, the Academy will cover your travel expenses, accommodations and provide meals onsite for this event. It will be held in Chicago, April 25-27, 2008.
Eligibility
- Member in good standing of the AAD
- Eight years or less since completing residency/fellowship training
- Must have completed residency training in dermatology
- Only US/Canadian travel to the onsite meetings is reimbursed
- Have never attended a Leadership Forum in the past.
