International Fellow - Electronic
The American Academy of Dermatology/Association Board has developed a new Electronic Membership option for individuals in developing countries. The electronic options provides access to Academy membership benefits at almost half the cost of the regular International Fellow membership dues. More information

Obtaining Visas
Visitors planning to visit or attend a meeting most likely will apply for a B-1 visa. All visa applicants are advised to apply for their visas as soon as travel to the United States is contemplated and no later than 3 months in advance.
Apply for Donations of Educational Materials
The American Academy of Dermatology coordinates the donation of educational materials and member supplied materials to teaching programs in developing countries in need of these items. More information
International Board Observer
The International Board Observer is a non-voting position which provides input to the Academy Board and represents the interests of international members which comprise a significant segment of Academy membership. International members of the Academy are encouraged to provide their input to the current International Board Observer, Dr. Frank C. Powell, KM FRCPI, FRCP Edin, via e-mail at: international@aad.org
