Traveler tips

Visa application guidelines and procedures

Climate

Tipping
It is customary to tip bartenders, waiters, and cab drivers between 15% to 20%. Hotel staff also expect to receive tips. Bellhops can be tipped $1 per bag, while doormen and valet parkers should receive $1 to $2. You may provide a tip for maid service (housekeeping) at your hotel by leaving $1 to $2 either on the bed or the table next to the bed.

Dress/attire
Business casual is appropriate for the meeting.  Some meeting rooms might feel cold, so a sweater or light jacket might be helpful. Comfortable shoes are recommended as there are long walking distances within the convention center.

Global networking center
The Global Networking Center is a specific area in the Convention Center where international meeting attendees have the opportunity to relax and network with colleagues from around the world.  Electrical outlets are available for laptops, cell phone chargers and other devices.

Letter of invitation
You will need to first complete your registration.  Upon completion of your registration, the online registration system will automatically generate your letter of invitation for printing. You will receive your letter via email to the address provided during registration. 
Letters of invitation for spouse/guest registrants only will be provided if the accompanying individual has completed his or her meeting registration.  Due to security concerns, letters only will be issued to registrants who have completed registration by March 11, 2015 at 12 p.m. (CT) 

Videotaping/photography in educational sessions 
Use of cameras, camera phones, video cameras is prohibited in all educational sessions. Violations of this policy will result in removal from the session and confiscation of equipment. Directors and room monitors will be closely monitoring adherence to this policy.
