State and Federal Affairs
The American Academy of Dermatology Association's legislative team closely monitors and lobbies on issues that affect the specialty of dermatology. Focusing on patient safety, scope of practice, Medicare reform, research, and other issues pertaining to the practice of dermatology, the legislative team of the AADA works in collaboration with our grassroots advocates; positioning the Academy as a leader in developing health care policy in Washington, and throughout the state legislatures.
