AAD Health Policy and Practice staff can provide expert guidance to the dermatology residents in your Dermatology Residency Program. Tailored to provide a comprehensive introduction to coding systems and their impact on future reimbursement, the Coding Basics Seminar will be presented by one of our certified coding experts who will assist residents as well as administrative staff with questions on coding, reimbursement, and practice issues.
Vernell St. John, CPC, CDC is an experienced coding consultant who has been with the Academy since 1994. She is a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders, and the Professional Association of Health Care Office Managers and is dual Certified as both a professional coder and a dermatology coder.
Peggy Eiden, CPC, CCS-P is an experienced coding specialist with 20 years of physician based coding and reimbursement experience. She is dually certified by the American Academy of Professional Coders and the American Health Information Management Association. She is a member of AAPC and past president of her local AAPC chapter.
