Description:
|
The 27th Combined Skin Pathology and Self-Assessment Course is
designed for pathologists, dermatologists, dermatopathologists,
residents, and fellows who have an interest in cutaneous pathology.
Participants will receive a comprehensive and intensive experience in
dermatopathology.
This year’s course is a combination of the 52nd Annual Postgraduate
Course in Dermatopathology and the 21st Dermatopathology:
Self-Assessment and Board Review. The Dermatopathology:
Self-Assessment and Board Review (short course) will be held during
the first two days and can be taken separately from the remainder of
the course. The combined course includes 41 lectures, over 600
teaching-quality glass slides, evening lectures, slide reviews, and
discussionsof unknown slides.
Upon completion of the course, the participant should be able to:
Effectively interpret microscopic sections of skin lesions
Determine clinicopathologic correlation
Identify personal areas of weakness and enhance their diagnostic
skills in these areas
Review and improve their knowledge and skills in preparing for the
Boards
