Advanced Dermatology for Primary Care is designed for the non-dermatologist and will focus on practical office dermatology. Primary care physicians, nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and other medical professionals with an interest in dermatology are encouraged to attend. Our faculty will present a wide spectrum of common dermatological problems and emphasize effective management. Ample opportunity will be given for questions during the lectures and at the end of each session. Two intensive hands-on workshops featuring biopsy, excision, advanced repairs, cryotherapy and electrocautery techniques will take place on Sunday morning. Participants will be expected to bring some surgical instruments. More detailed information will be provided upon receipt of your registration. A live patient demonstration will be available at Fletcher Allen Health Care to illustrate the injection of botulinum toxin for glabellar and forehead wrinkles.

1. Appreciate the pathophysiology of the most common dermatologic
problems such as acne, dermatitis, psoriasis, skin infections and skin
