The purpose of this advanced concepts seminar is to familiarize sonographers with the ultrasound anatomy and scanning techniques of the more uncommon entities, as well as compelling discussion for patients in every day practice. Learning how to “think outside of the box” to apply venous hemodynamic understanding to sonography will enhance patient care. Ultrasound may begin as a straightforward A to B to C examination, but often this approach does not provide a comprehensive diagnosis.
Following this course, the attendee will have a greater understanding and knowledge of the anatomy, physiology and ultrasound findings of phlebology diseases. Those attending this meeting should have knowledge of venous ultrasound, with at least two years of experience recommended.
