As a recognized leader in the advancement of the science and the practice of dermatology, the American Academy of Dermatology is dedicated to promoting and facilitating excellence in Continuing Medical Education Continuing Professional Development.
The Academy has established a quality program of activities that are fair, balanced, objective, evidence-based and free of commercial bias and provides opportunities for delivering and improving the quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness of patient care and outcomes. As a result, the Academy encourages the development of professional lifelong learning values, individual self-assessment, self-directed learning repertoire and evaluation of performance in practice.
