The recipient should possess a national or international presence, have well-recognized expertise and should be a longstanding member of the American Academy of Dermatology. No sitting member of the History Committee shall be eligible for nomination.

The selected individual will be presented with the Master Dermatologist award during the recognition luncheon at the Annual Meeting. The recipient also will be highlighted in Dermatology World, and his or her photograph will be placed in the American Heritage Collection at the Academy's headquarters.
The 2014 Master Dermatologist Award will be presented during the recognition luncheon at the American Academy of Dermatology's 72nd Annual Meeting in Denver, Colo.
