DermLex™ is an online database of dermatologic terminology that was created to improve dermatology coding and billing, to allow development of efficient electronic health records (EHRs), and to enhance research efforts. This lexicon of dermatologic diagnoses, therapies, procedures, and laboratory tests will help to establish the precise meaning of frequently used terms in dermatologic practice.
